Bridget’s experience teaching and studying dance for the past 38 years is unmatched. She trained at Joyce Matthies Dance Centre and the prestigious Point Park University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She’s studied with several top choreographers, professional dancers, and teachers throughout the years. Her dancers consistently place in the top overall placements each year both regionally & nationally. Several earning 1st place overall and both national & regional titles, and the coveted best choreography, fabulous feet (tap,) emotional connection, intensity, showmanship, energy, and best technique awards just to name a few. Several dancers she’s trained have gone onto great success at top college programs for dance, national championship winning college dance teams, Larkin Dance Studio, earned scholarships for college dance programs, and continue dancing, teaching, and choreographing professionally. She is not just an instructor that explains and demonstrates but she inspires all who take her amazing classes! Bridget takes master classes at the best of the best workshops each year learning growing and evolving to keep her dancers and their training at the top of their game. She’s trained in Vaganova and Cecchetti ballet styles, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern Graham method, pointe, tap, hip-hop, break dancing, yoga vinyasa style, and fox trot, swing, and waltz ballroom styles. She is certified in vinyasa yoga. Bridget has an extensive background in musical theater both as a choreographer & performer. She most recently choreographed and performed in the Summerset Theater’s production of Mary Poppins. She’s choreographed and performed in musicals for the past 4 decades. She loves sharing her passion and knowledge for dance with others, and helping others to reach their goals and to reach their fullest potential.

Barbara has over 14 years of experience teaching dance. She trained at B.D.C. now known as Evolve through the years and was a member of the competition teams, competed several duets and a solo, and starred in the winter ballets. She has trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, musical theater, & Zumba. She’s taught and choreographed the Petite company competition team in the past and several competition soloists and duet/trios. She lead the Petite Company to a 1st place overall grand champion victory in the past. She has also taught for DD’s dance in Eagan MN. Barbara is wonderful with the younger children always able to hold their attention, she is patient, kind, and always makes class full of fun!

Kira has been training at Evolve for 14 years. Training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and Acro. She is the dance captain of senior company competition team and she loves to choreograph solos, duets, and groups. She has earned many overall awards. Some of her notable ones from this past year are 1st, 2nd, and 6th overall. Kira has also earned many judges choice awards including “Legs for days” and “Lovely Lines.” She has also won awards with her solos such as double platinums and elite platinums as well. She demonstrates great leadership and teaching skills. Kira is creative, motivating, hard working, committed, passionate, and very skilled at helping each student reach their goals. Her students consistently place in the overalls, she has six 1st place overall numbers, including a national champion. Her students have won judges choice awards for “musicality,” “the powerhouse award,” “sweet and sassy award,” “cut above award,” and gotten scores as high as 290. Kira is excited to learn and grow as a dancer and teacher and also can’t wait to start her routines for this year! She is an excellent role model and instructor for all the dancers at the studio.

Megan Fleiner is a performer, choreographer, and teacher. She was a BFA Dance Major at Minnesota State University, Mankato and graduated summa cum laude in May 2019. She trained at Jane Taylor Academy of Dance for 4 years, Just For Kix for 5 years, and Bridget’s Dance Conservatory for 11 years in Austin, Minnesota. She was also a member of the Austin Packer Varsity Competitive Dance Team for 3 years and placed 4th at the State Dance Team Tournament 2 years in a row. Her lyrical/contemporary duet piece “Exposed” and her modern solo piece “The Last Sip” were selected and featured in the Spring Faculty Dance Concert 2017 and Spring Faculty Dance Concert 2018 at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She performed in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center with Dan Stark’s Peek piece as part of the ACDA. Megan was also part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival performing once again Dan Stark’s Peek piece. Upon graduating, she started teaching at The Dance Conservatory of Southern MN in Mankato and New Ulm. Megan has performed works by Daniel Stark, Julie Kerr Berry, Melissa Rosenberger, Joe Crook, Allison Doughty Marquesen, Ruben Del Valle, Zenon Dance Company, Marciano De Silvas, and Trump Card. As a teacher, Megan has helped assist Bridget’s Dance Conservatory’s Junior Competition Line. She has also choreographed a solo piece for Bridget’s Dance Conservatory which has competed at dance competitions in the cities and received placement and awards. She has also taught summer dance workshops and was the dance instructor for the summer daze program at the YMCA in Austin, MN. As a leader, she was captain of her studio competition line for 8 years. Throughout her dance experience, she has received multiple awards including Performance for Zenon Dance Company and Marciano de Silvas, Freshmen Talent Grant, Heather Habeck Award Just For Kix, Intensity Award, All Out Award, Exceptional Skill Award, Silent Dancer Award, and Dancer of the Year. She has been teaching at Evolve for 2 years and earned top overall scores for her choreography, she loves being back at her home studio!

McKenzie has been a dancer since the age of 3. She trained at Jane Taylor Academy of dance for 2 years and Bridget’s dance conservatory for 8 years. While at Bridget’s she performed with the competition teams jazz, ballet, tap, & lyrical. As well as several duets and hip hop solos. Placing high gold and platinums at many competitions. McKenzie then started dancing and performing with the Austin Packer Dance Team for about 5 years. Placing first at Sections and Big 9 one year. While also making it to the state tournament every year and placing 4th two years in a row! She’s trained in Ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theater, & Acro. McKenzie has always had a passion for the dance community and is thrilled to continue that passion with Evolve Dance and Fitness
